As a bookkeeper, your main role is to keep an official track of company's financial transaction and creates reports from that information. The bookkeeper also reconciles account to ensure accuracy.
THE RESPONSIBILIIES
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Review financial transactions for accuracy
Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
Recording of debits and credits
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
Reconciling entries to balance multiple accounts
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Monitor any variances from the projected budget
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in business administration, accounting, finance or relevant field
1 + years bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
Strong knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping principles
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding accounting best practices
Excellent communication, data entry and math skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Comfortable dealing with high volumes of complex data
